Italpinas Accepts Special Award in Alternative Energy at the 2014 Mindanao Business Leaders Awards

Centrio’s activity center was jam-packed with well-regarded entrepreneurs and business tycoons as Business Week Mindanao, together with its sister publications, awarded fifteen business individuals and organizations at the 2014 Mindanao Business Leaders Awards last July 26 with the theme “Celebration of the Island’s Business Successes.”

For the third time in its five years of existence, Business Week Mindanao consistently gave recognition to the most deserved magnates that have massively contributed to the economic development of Mindanao.

One of the fifteen awardees was Primavera Residences’ own developer, Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-Development Corporation (ITPI), which received the Special Award in the Alternative Energy category.

“I am very honored to receive this award on behalf of Italpinas,” said Primavera Residences VP and General Manager Cheryll Barriga, who accepted the award. “We share this award to our fellow Kagay-anons as we continue to provide them a greener place to live in,” Barriga added.

Aside from Italpinas, other awardees included Sumipro Phils. Inc., which won under the Agri-business category, 1st Valley Bank for Finance and Banking, FICCO for Cooperative Banking, Alrose Group of Companies for Food Manufacture & Marketing, A BROWN Company for Housing and Realty Development, Royal Mandaya Hotel for Hotel Industry, Dahilayan Adventure Park for Resorts and Tourism Development, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines for Mega Entrepreneur, Salay Handmade Paper Industries for Social Entrepreneur, JCA Realty for Service Entrepreneur, ANAKCIANO, Inc./Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro for Food Production Entrepreneur, Work Area Business Center for Business Entrepreneur, Yulo Tee/GTY Marketing for Trading Entrepreneur, and Oro Asian Automotive Center Corporation for Transport Industry.

Leaders are forged by circumstances and each of us has to play our part,” said Business Week Mindanao President and CEO Dante Sudaria.
