Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-Development Corporation (ITPI), an Italian-Filipino company that designs and develops sustainable properties all over the country, has recently celebrated its win at the 2014-2015 Asia Pacific Property Awards in Kuala Lumpur by holding a celebratory dinner at the function hall of Primavera Residences last June 28. Primavera Residences is ITPI’s flagship project in Cagayan de Oro. It is the first eco-friendly condo complex in the city.

The celebration was held to honor ITPI’s stakeholders, as well as the city of Cagayan de Oro for their support.

Primavera Residences’ remarkable design, as well as its energy-saving features, are what helped cinch its Best Mixed-Use Development in the Philippines award at the Asia Pacific Property Awards – an achievement that ITPI partly attributes to their shareholders.

Appreciation Dinner

“Our recent achievement does not only recognize our project, but our partners and stakeholders as well. Without their support, we could not have won the award,” said ITPI chief executive officer, Arch. Romolo V. Nati.

Nati recounted the difficulty in starting the project, but noted that it was worth it.

“When we were constructing Primavera Residences, it was a risk, especially considering that ours is the first condominium development in Cagayan de Oro, but definitely we can say that our risk really paid off,” Nati shared.

Nati explained that they chose to set up Primavera Residences in Cagayan de Oro because of the city’s potential for business growth and natural beauty.

“We think that it’s about time that the real estate market serves areas such as Cagayan de Oro. We chose this city because there’s so much to fall in love with. You have thriving businesses here with some multinational companies setting up shop, but it still retains its clean environment,” he added.

The dinner celebration also honored the city of Cagayan de Oro, most particularly Mayor Oscar Moreno, for supporting the project every step of the way. Mayor Moreno, the guest of honor at the celebratory dinner, commended ITPI for their forward-thinking drive to invest in the city.

“Primavera Residences has made a mark in Cagayan de Oro’s urban landscape. Their recent win has really put our city on the map,” observed Mayor Moreno.

“We are fortunate to have been receiving strong support from the local government, particularly from Mayor Moreno, and all the stakeholders. And we are proud to say that they are our partners and strong allies in our advocacy on the sustainability of the environment,” said ITPI chairman Dr. Jose P. Leviste, Jr.

Dr. Leviste stated that he hopes the win will not only push ITPI to even greater success, but also help the city they invested in achieve its goals of sustainability and greater economic success.

“We want to share our victory with the people of Cagayan de Oro, because we believe they are an integral part of our success and together we can work hand-in-hand to help make the city an economic hub in Northern Mindanao,” Leviste said.

Among those honored at the celebratory dinner were Primavera Residences’ stakeholders including its bank partners, brokers, local government units, and media partners.

Primavera Residences is a twin-tower, ten-story mixed-use development located in the Uptown Cagayan de Oro. It incorporates passive green design features like cantilevered edges that provide shade and minimize the amount of direct sunlight that hits its windows and an inner courtyard that acts as a funnel pushing warm air out  through the roof and letting cool air flow naturally. These passive cooling features allow residents of the building to lessen their aircon use, thus resulting in reduced energy consumption.

Primavera Residences, the first eco-friendly condo complex in Cagayan de Oro, will host a celebratory dinner on June 28, 6 p.m., at its function hall,  in appreciation of the city and stakeholders’ continued support for its projects and shared vision on sustainability.

Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-Development Corp. (ITPI), the developer of Primavera Residences, has been receiving strong support from the local government and its stakeholders. The company considers CdO as well as its stakeholders as partners and strong allies in their advocacy on sustainability and the environment.

Primavera Residences has recently been accorded the Best Mixed-Use Development in the Philippines award in the 2014-2015 Asia Pacific Property Summit organized by the prestigious International Property Awards, and given in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The International Property Awards is a global organization that recognizes excellence in property development around the world.

“Our recent win does not only recognize our project, but our partners and stakeholders as well. Without our partners’ support, we could not have won the award,” said ITPI CEO Arch. Romolo V. Nati. “The celebration dinner is our way of thanking them for all their help.”

ITPI chairman Jose P. Leviste, Jr. added that the award does not only help strengthen the company’s partnership with business organizations and financial institutions but also boost Cagayan de Oro’s position as an “emerging city of tomorrow” as declared recently by the UN Habitat.

“We want to share our victory with them because we believe they are an integral part of our success. Together, we can work hand-in-hand to help make the city of Cagayan de Oro an economic hub in Northern Mindanao,” Leviste, Jr. said. He accepted the award in Kuala Lumpur on behalf of ITPI.

ITPI president Atty. Jojo Leviste, III, on the other hand, noted that the company’s goal to be recognized as the industry leader in sustainable architecture and design is soon being realized, with the recognition it is getting.

“Our vision and mission is to make the country a greener place to live in, and we are pleased that our Cagayan de Oro project is getting that attention,” Leviste III said.

The celebration dinner will fete representatives from the Cagayan de Oro local government, as well as Primavera Residences’ bank partners, brokers and agents, representatives from the media, and other stakeholders.
