Italpinas to Hold Post-Valentine Condo and Car Fair

Blog

This coming February 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-development Corporation (ITPI) together with Hyundai Philippines invites everyone to a Post-Valentine Condo and Car Fair at Primavera Residences. Guests will be entitled to a free building tour and test drive at the grounds of Primavera in Uptown Cagayan de Oro.

ITPI is known for developing sustainable properties in alternative cities. This month, to treat its clients and guests, ITPI or Italpinas partnered with Hyundai Philippines, a brand also known to create automobiles with eco-friendly automotive technology. Hyundai is aggressively expanding its nationwide dealership network as the company is geared towards dealing with sustainable companies.

“ITPI always stands behind its eco-friendly advocacy because we know that this is what the world needs today. With its similar vision, Hyundai is the perfect fit for Primavera, which we are exploring starting with this partnership event.” Gladys Echano, ITPI Sales Director, said.

Primavera Residences, ITPI’s flagship condo development in CdO, is known for its passive eco-friendly architecture that is designed to maximize natural ventilation and lighting. Its exterior walls are fitted with window-shading cantilevers, preventing direct sunlight from hitting the glass façade, thus ensuring a lower temperature even at the hottest hours of the day. The property also features a green inner courtyard that acts as a natural chimney, forcing warm air to move upward.

“This coming Feb 25, guests are treated to a free tour of Mindanao’s first multi-awarded eco-friendly property, Primavera Residences. Not only that, guests are also entitled to drive Hyundai’s eco-friendly automobiles,” Echano added.

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai automobiles in the Philippines, is currently the third top ranking automotive firm in the country. Thrice hailed as Hyundai’s Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year (2005, 2006, and 2008), and Hyundai Global Distributor of the Year 2010 in less than a decade of its operations, HARI boasts of a 41-strong dealer network, superior after-sales, dealer and customer relations support, and a desirable roster of best-selling vehicles, including the Grand Starex, Tucson, Santa Fe, Genesis Coupe, i10, Elantra, Accent Sedan, Accent Hatchback, Sonata, and EON.

Primavera Residences, on the other hand, has received several recognitions from international award-giving bodies because of its many green features. Its latest award is the 2014-2015 Asia Pacific regional competition of the prestigious International Property Awards in the Best Mixed-use Development category for the Philippines.

Do you want to secure free tickets for this activity? Hurry! Please call 0917-794-2221, 088-880-5002; or get in touch with ITPI’s accredited realty partners and agents.

Got Books to Share? Join the Cagayan de Oro Rugby Club Book Drive!

Book Drive_Blog

The start of the year is definitely a great time to de-clutter your home and rid your house of things you no longer need. Among the things that take up a lot of space are old books, and just like most families, you probably have piles and shelves of books that you or your family no longer need. Instead of letting your books gather dust and cramp up your living area, why not donate these to a book drive?

This January to February 2015, CdO’s very own rugby team is gathering educational books for a book donation drive that would benefit schools in remote areas of Papua New Guinea. They will accept encyclopedias, text books, and any other educational materials. As a support to this worthwhile and eco-friendly cause, those who wish to donate may drop off your donations at the Primavera Sales Office at 2/F Primavera Residences, Pueblo de Oro Business Park, Cagayan de Oro City from 9am to 6pm Mondays to Saturdays.

Spread the joy of learning to school children in Papua New Guinea! For more information, visit the Primavera Facebook page HERE or the CDO Rugby Club Official FB page.

Home for the Holidays

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” as Andy William’s song goes.

Millions of Filipino people currently work overseas. As Filipinos, we  know how painful it is for  OFWs to be working away from their families to help provide them with a better life. And many haven’t seen their loved ones for several years now.

As Filipinos, we always look forward to this season. As parents, we hope for our family to be intact: to take the opportunity to make up from the time we haven’t spent with our children. As kids we looked forward to the joy of the season: all the cool stuff we would get, all the great food and treats, and lots of time to just enjoy the season with the family.

These memories are imprinted into our mind and are revived every year with the sounds and sights of the holidays. For most, it’s a special time of year, one in which we celebrate and connect with those closest to us.

This holiday season, it is best to spend quality time with your kids. Christmas is a good time to teach your family, especially children about values like love, compassion, giving and sharing. This is the perfect time to include the whole family in different Christmas activities like baking cookies, decorating the house and the tree and wrapping up gifts, to mention some.

Come up with games that your family might enjoy. In fact, it is a good idea to go shopping together, where you can make your kids choose their own gifts. Buy groceries together and just enjoy the company you might have missed for a long time.

The key here is to give yourself a break and to spend maximum time with your family. A family Christmas is the best kind of Christmas and once you have had a good one, you will make it a point to enjoy every future Christmas with your family.

Primavera Residences is a family-oriented multi-awarded development in Cagayan de Oro. The building consists of amenities and facilities both parents and children will enjoy. Its location and eco-friendly features add up to what most parents would want in a home—flood-free zone, 24/7 security, and it could save up to 20% of electricity consumption.

Primavera Conducts Clean Up Drive for National Volunteer Month

NVM1

The culture of volunteerism is a proud legacy of the Filipinos as citizens and as a nation. Service is our way of life, as the practice of ‘bayanihan’ or mutual cooperation has long been instilled in our consciousness. It has played an important role in helping the nation with the recent crises and disasters. Undoubtedly, volunteers have enabled the country to rise above challenges and move forward.

Volunteerism has become instrumental in improving the lives of the deprived and underprivileged. Thankfully, there are volunteers who willingly devote their time and effort to others and serve as essential partners of the nation in the quest of social change.

The National Volunteer Month (NVM) is celebrated every December to pay tribute to the commitment and dedication of volunteers, regardless of class, age, gender, expertise, and interest, who are united by a common goal of achieving equality, peace, and development.

Through NVM, the country recognizes the volunteers’ significance in nation-building. It honors the heroes who work without regard for material reward and find fulfillment in witnessing the change in the lives of people and communities they have touched.

Volunteering for the Environment

This year’s theme puts emphasis in the environment and highlights the volunteers who have poured efforts in taking care of nature in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) on environmental sustainability.

In celebration of this year’s National Volunteer Month, everyone is urged to be part of the campaign to protect, preserve, and sustain the environment through participating in national and local policy development and promotion, and supporting environmental campaigns.

“In line with National Volunteer Month and also to support our advocacy being the premier environment-friendly building in Cagayan de Oro, this coming December 13, Saturday, 7 o’clock in the morning, Italpinas Euroasian Design and Eco-development Corp (ITPI) personnel together with Primavera Residences unit owners and tenants are enjoined to participate in a clean-up drive of Trade Street and surrounding areas within the Pueblo de Oro Business Park,” Jane Montebon-Duterte, PR & Marketing Manager, shared.

“I am a volunteer for the environment”

This coming Saturday, December 13, Primavera Residences invites you to take part in promoting a clean and green community.

“We are continuously experiencing typhoons that are directly resulting from climate change and environmental degradation. The only way to protect the environment and move forward is to get everyone involved. Who are we to neglect and abandon the environment? We owe our lives to nature, who are we not to give back?” Cesar Stefan Rago, PR & Marketing Coordinator, said.

Primavera Residences, which garnered several local and international recognitions for its commitment to green architecture and design, is known for its passive energy-saving features such as cantilevers that protect the units from direct sunlight and an indoor courtyard that maximizes the natural ventilation in the area. The building is also designed to withstand earthquakes and extreme weather conditions.

“As a sustainable developer, Italpinas invites everyone to come and take part as we celebrate National Volunteer Month. Stand up and make a positive impact to our environment. Together, we can be catalysts for a better community. With commitment, we can make a difference.” Rago said.

Sustainable developer ITPI, has invested in alternative locations where nature and the environment has been thoroughly preserved and optimized. Primavera Residences, located in a master planned community in uptown Cagayan de Oro, was built in 2009 and has been effectively on the lead in promoting green advocacies in Cagayan de Oro.
